The DCAD Pottery & Ceramics Residency Program
Overview
The DCAD Residency Program continues its mission to cultivate creative talent by launching its second cycle focused on Pottery & Ceramics Design. In partnership with italian porcelain brand Ginori 1735, this six-month program (January 2026 to June 2026) will immerse 10–15 selected residents in the artistic, technical, and cultural dimensions of ceramics.
The program culminates in a public Capstone Exhibition at the Bassam Freiha Art Foundation, showcasing original ceramic collections. Top-performing residents will earn a prestigious internship opportunity at Ginori 1735 HQ in Florence, scheduled for late 2026.
Throughout the program, residents will attend weekly sessions at our official venue partner MAKE, as well as Abu Dhabi University and Al Ain Educational Investments (AAEI).
